From Lindrick Dale including the Chesterfield canal, Shireoaks and Turner Wood.

 The walk is mostly on good surfaces, there was 'almost' no mud when pre-walked.

The Roche Abbey Circular was well supported, 20 people and one dog taking part. The weather was fine at the start and stayed fine for the duration of the walk. The route involved walking through the churchyard and then a short steady climb to Hooton Levitt. From there we followed the path to Roche Abbey, which involved a very boggy section but everyone negotiated it without mishap. After a coffee break in the abbey gatehouse the route back to Maltby was via the Norwoods. Refreshment was taken in the Queens
