The starting point is the lay-by on the A57 near Anston Stones Wood (S81 8BB, w3w”://caramel.beauty.bloomed)  There is plenty of space to park on either side of the road, but it is a very busy and fast road. Please be extra careful when parking up and especially when crossing the road. 

At the start of the walk, we will be heading off down Lindrick Dale, which is on the right-hand side of the road when coming from South Anston. We will congregate in the lay by on the right-hand side (south side) of the A57 before setting off and I’ll do the walk intro talk when we get into the quieter environs of Lindrick Dale. When we set off along the side of the A57 please keep in single file and again be careful if you are crossing the road.
