John and Julie Bashforth Prewalk done 11th February, had to change the route because of the conditions and I'm not a good swimmer in deep mud. The start/finish remain the same, however, the overall distance has gone up to 8.9 miles. If anyone wants to shorten it to just over half there is a cutoff point. The main thing is that although there is only one hill everywhere is very slippery and I would recommend a stick for a third leg. Also, low sided boots will result in wet feet. It is not all bad though as there are also lots of good paths. Duck feed might be required if you don't want bothering at meal break 😀, but lots of snowdrops to be seen.
