Please meet opposite the Boshaw Trout pub, Penistone Road, Hade Edge, Holmfirth, HD92JG for a 10.00am start.

Please do not park on the (unmade) road adjacent to the car parking area, as this is a permissive road to give access to Bent Lane. N.B. marker stones show ‘Keep clear’ but it is easy to not see them!  Additional parking may be available at the pub. The entrance is located opposite the pub on the left hand side along Longley Edge Road.

This is a lovely walk of approx 4.5 miles and contains a variety of pleasant scenery for a walk of this length. Please note that there is a fairly consistent ascent within the first ¾ of the walk, however this is mostly gradual rather than steep and we will stop frequently to let people have a breather.

We have a reservation at the Boshaw Trout pub afterwards for refreshments. Meals will be available for those who may wish to stay to eat. Everyone is welcome.
