Todays walk in detail

12 of us Started from Baslow bottom in the drizzle but not dampened spirits. The rain continued while we climbed up out of Baslow to the Wellington monument where the first water break was taken. Rain battered while we walked along Baslow, Curbar and Froggatt edges. Tea break was taken on rocks over looking Froggatt before descending down in to Froggatt on a woodland path and then along the river Derwent. Lunch break was taken in the graveyard of All Saints Church, Curbar before climbing Curbar lane and on to Cliff lane. From there it was gradual undulations on a slowing down hill path back down in to Baslow. Refreshments were taken at the Robin Hood Inn. Thank you to Peter for the company on the Recce walk and back marking.
